Privacy Policy

Constructobot ("we," "us," or "our") provides CloudFAB, a construction operations platform available through web and mobile applications. This policy explains what information CloudFAB processes, why we process it, and the choices available to you.
Information we collect
We may collect the following information when you or your organization uses CloudFAB:
- Account information: name, email address, role, organization, login credentials, and authentication records.
- Business and operational data: project, customer, vendor, inventory, coil, production, scheduling, fabrication, installation, and related records entered by users.
- Files and media: photos, PDFs, certificates, models, drawings, and other documents that users choose to upload or capture.
- Location information: project or job-site locations, including coordinates that a user chooses to enter, select on a map, or provide through an enabled device feature.
- Subscription information: billing contact details, subscription status, and transaction identifiers. Payment card details are processed by our payment provider and are not stored directly by CloudFAB.
- Technical information: device and browser type, IP address, session cookies, timestamps, request and error logs, and similar security or diagnostic data.
Device permissions such as camera, photo library, or location are used only when needed for a feature you choose to use. You can manage those permissions in your device settings.
How we use information
We use information to:
- provide, operate, secure, and support CloudFAB;
- authenticate users and enforce organization and role-based access;
- store, process, and display the records and files your organization submits;
- process subscriptions and send service-related communications;
- diagnose errors, prevent misuse, and improve reliability and functionality; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
We do not sell personal information or use CloudFAB customer data for targeted advertising.
How we disclose information
We may disclose information:
- to the organization that provides or manages your CloudFAB account and its authorized administrators;
- to service providers that help us host the app, store data, deliver email, provide maps, process payments, monitor security, or support the service;
- when required by law, legal process, or a valid governmental request, or to protect rights, safety, and the security of CloudFAB and its users; and
- as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
We require service providers to process information only for the services they provide to us.
Data retention and deletion
We retain information while it is needed to provide CloudFAB to your organization and for legitimate business, security, backup, audit, and legal purposes. Retention periods vary by the type of information and our contractual or legal obligations.
To request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal information, contact your organization administrator or email us at hello@constructobot.com. Because most CloudFAB data is controlled by the customer organization, we may refer a request to that organization or require verification before acting. Some information may be retained where legally required or necessary for security and dispute resolution.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No storage or transmission system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
CloudFAB is a business service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information to CloudFAB.
International processing
Information may be processed and stored in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Those locations may have data protection laws that differ from the laws where you live.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as CloudFAB changes. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice through the app or by email.
